Hearsay launches #PRitforward grants to assist nonprofits and charities

In an effort to assist 501(c)3 organizations, benefit companies, and b-corporations receive revenue-generating exposure, credibility, and attention in the marketplace, Hearsay has launched the #PRitforward grants. This series of grants is designed to enable nonprofits, benefit companies, and b-corporations to get off the ground publicity-wise through pro bono public relations counsel. The boutique communications agency will be accepting applications through September 12. To apply click here, and share what makes your foundation, nonprofit, or b-corporation unique, how pro bono PR counsel can help you, and why the Hearsay team should pick you. Show off the work you’re already doing and all your crazy plans to do whatever it is you do bigger and better. Projects will be scored based on innovation, planning, need, and mission.

The #PRitforward grants are designed for U.S. residents who are 15 years or older. Candidates also must be open to sharing the outcome of their project with Hearsay by contributing at least two posts on the site. The winners of this year’s #PRitforward grants will be announced on the Hearsay blog and social media feeds on September 26.

In addition to a kickass PR strategy and access to a group of PR rock stars who will be serving as advisors, winners also may receive social media analysis, community engagement plans, event planning guidance, and more.
