Picky Bars Announces Lifepoints Adventure Grants

Staying true to its mission to “Fuel Great Experiences,” Picky Bars—the Oregon-based energy bar company founded by professional athletes Jesse Thomas, Lauren Fleshman, and Steph Bruce—has created the Lifepoints Adventure Grant. Born out of the pang of envy felt after viewing the awe-inspiring #lifepoints shots submitted by Picky Bar fans, the Lifepoints Adventure Grant was created to break down the barriers holding people back from achieving their ultimate dream adventures. Whether it be motivation, fear, gear, or funds, Picky Bars wants to help those in need get their next trip off the ground.

A total of three Lifepoints Adventure Grants, each worth $1,500, will be granted in one of the following categories: Urban to Outdoors, City Fix, and the Open Adventure. The grants are open to anyone looking for any type of adventure—from a mini-vacay to see your family to an avalanche course to a multi-day forest trek.

Those interested in participating can apply online now at pickybars.com/adventuregrant. Applications are being accepted through Monday, June 20, 2016, at 11:59 pm PST.
